The Lisbn website does not access or use your data. However, the Lisbn website is hosted by GitHub, who may access or use your data. For more information, please refer to GitHub's privacy policy.
Use of the Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ requires access to services related to your Google account. The data accessed through these services may contain sensitive personal information. Although the Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ may access and use your data, it does not collect your data. Some of the data used by the add-on—numeric values interpreted as ISBNs—are communicated to third-party book information providers. The Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
The Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ requests several permissions of your Google account.
"View and manage spreadsheets that this application has been installed in": The Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ needs permission to “view” your spreadsheet to determine what book information to fetch and it needs permission to “manage” your spreadsheet to insert fetched book information into your spreadsheet.
"Connect to an external service": To fetch book information, the Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ needs permission to connect to third-party services and request book information. Be aware that any data contained in your Google Sheets™ spreadsheets may be interpreted as an ISBN and shared with third-party book information providers.
"Allow this application to run when you are not present": The Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ responds automatically when you interact with your Google Sheets™ spreadsheets. This means that the Lisbn add-on for Google Sheets™ may continue to “run” and “edit” your spreadsheets even when you are no longer “present.”
